William Schrantz, age 68, of McKeesport, died December 20, 2010. He is the son of the late Leo A. and Calista Rose Young Schrantz and was born in McKeesport on January 18, 1942.
He is survived by his wife Gwendolyn "Dolly" Keene Schrantz, and son Brian Warren Schrantz of Greenock, siblings Leo "Butch" Schrantz of Penn Hills, Thomas (Barbara) Schrantz of Grove City and Louise (Charles) Hughes of Marionville. Also nieces and nephews
He was a US Veteran serving in the Air Force and is retired from USX Irvin Plant with over 30 years service.
Friends will be received at Strifflers of White Oak Cremation and Mortuary Services, 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, supervisor 412 678 6177) on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8. Services will be held in the funeral home chapel on Friday at 10:00 am.
Entombment will follow in Lebanon Chapel Mausoleum of West Mifflin.
