William H. Sauer

William H. Sauer, 89, of White Oak, formerly of Shadyside, died July 17, 2012. He was born in Garfield on May 10, 1923 and is the son of the late Urban and Bertha Schultheis Sauer. He was the husband of the late Doris Collins Sauer. He was a former co-owner of the Sauer Brothers Heating and Air Conditioning Company in Glenshaw. He was an avid deer hunter.

He is survived by children; Suzanne (Andrew) Fedoris of Munhall and David (Annette) Sauer of White Oak, grandchildren; Andrew (Tracy) Fedoris of Munhall and Christine (Erik) Gunstrom of Monongahela, great grandchildren; Andrew and Zoey Fedoris and Erik Gunstrom and his beloved pets; Sweety and Abby. He was preceded in death by siblings; Marcella Synan, Loretta, Henry, Paul, Joe, John, Ed and Robert Sauer.

Friends will be received at Strifflers of White Oak Cremation and Mortuary Services, 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, supervisor, 412-678-6177) on Friday from 2-4 & 6-8 pm. Mass will be held Saturday at St. Elizabeth Anne Seton Catholic Church at 10:00 am .
