William "Bubba" Blaine Burr

William "Bubba" Blaine Burr, age 65, passed away on Wednesday, July 8, 2026. He was born January 15, 1961, in McKeesport, Pennsylvania, the son of William Arthur Burr Jr. and Margaret Ellen Ziino.

Bill graduated from West Mifflin South in 1979 and Friends University in 1985.

Bill was employed with United Parcel Service (UPS) for 33 and a half years and retired in 2015.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Margaret Burr in 2000; his father, William Burr, Jr. in 2007.

He is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Cindy Burr; his children, Meaghan Burr and Michael (Jessica) Burr; his sister, Marsha (Russell) Shively of Pennsylvania; his brother, Timothy Burr of Louisiana; his aunt, Wanda Sims of Pennsylvania; along with many nephews, nieces and cousins.

A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, July 26, 2026, at: 5:00 p.m. at Sedgwick County Park - Wheatland Pavilion, 6501 West 21st Street, Wichita, Kansas 67205. Comfortable attire is welcomed. Light refreshments will be served following the service.

A memorial has been established with Pleasant Valley United Methodist Church, 1600 West 27th Street North, Wichita, Kansas 67204.
