William "Romeo" F. Benvin

William F. "Romeo" Benvin of North Versailles, died December 1, 2010 at his residence. Born in North Versailles September 2, 1924 and married May 14, 1949 to the late Mary E. McNeilis Benvin. He was the son of the late Peter and Agnes Curl Benvin. He was a member of St. Robert Bellarmine Church. Also a member of the Bowman Social Club and the White Oak American Legion Post #701. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the caregivers at Davita Dialysis Center in White Oak. He is survived by daughters Kathleen M. Winzek of Elizabeth, Karen S. (Ben) Peters of Braddock Hills, Rita J. (Alan) Peters of Port Vue, and son David W. (Karen) Benvin of North Versailles, 22 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren on the way. Siblings John and Peter Benvin both of Michigan and nieces, nephews and other loved ones. Friends will be received at Striffler's of White Oak Cremation and Mortuary Services, Inc., 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, Supervisor 412-678-6177) Thursday 6-8 PM and Friday 2-4 and 6-8PM. Mass will be Saturday at St. Robert's 12:15PM. Burial to follow.
