Walter Dale Peters

Walter Dale Peters, of West Mifflin, age 80, died June 18, 2012. He was born in Monessen on Jan. 27, 1932 and is the son of the late Leonard and Ruth Hall Peters. He was a graduate of the University Of Pittsburgh School Of Business. His professional life included careers in both corporate and public accounting. He was a US Veteran serving in the Korean War.

Walter is survived by his brothers: Ronald (Lois) Peters of N. Huntingdon and Leonard (Georgiana) Peters of Louisville, Kentucky, nieces and nephews, his beloved dog, Caesar, and his wonderful friends who walk their dogs at Frick Park.

A private family viewing was held at Strifflers of White Oak Cremation & Mortuary Services, 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, supervisor, 412 678 6177). Remembrances may be made to the Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy, 2000 Technology Drive, Suite 300, Pittsburgh, PA 15219.

A memorial celebration of Walter's life will be held at a later date.
