Veronica Kobak

Veronica Kobak, 94, of Swissvale, formerly of McKeesport, died Sunday, April 5, 2015. She was born in Monessen, Sept. 20, 1920, and was the daughter of the late Michael Rusnak and Veronica Mayernick Rusnak, and the wife of the late Robert E. Kobak Sr. She was an avid gardener and loved spending time with her family. She is survived by her children, Robert E. (Sara) Kobak Jr., of Moon Township, and Janet (Richard) Jakovac, of The Woodlands, Texas; granddaughter, Emily Kobak, of Boston, Mass.; siblings, Pauline Hartos, of Port Vue, and Paul Rusnak, of Providence, R.I.; and many nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the HUNTER-EDMUNDSON-STRIFFLER FUNERAL HOME, 600 Market St., McKeesport, PA 15132, (412-678-6191). Funeral Liturgy Outside of Mass will be Wednesday at 10:00 AM in the funeral home chapel with Father Daniel Straughn officiating. Burial will follow.
