Vera Olsson

Vera Olsson, age 85, of White Oak, died Nov. 13, 2011. She was born in Pgh. on May 30, 1926 and is the daughter of the late George and Veronica Grief Lang. She is the wife of the late Eric "Swede" Olsson. She was employed as a concessionaire at Three Rivers Stadium and PNC Park for almost 30 years. She is survived by children: Pamela (Norman "Mick") Whelpley of N. Versailles, Keri Olsson-Kline of White Oak, Bruce (Bonnie) Olsson of McKeesport, and Gregory (Mary Ellen) Olsson of Charlotte, N. Carolina, grandchildren; Erik, Amanda, Robin, Scott and Kelly and great grandchildren; Alexander, Shane, Millie and Michael and siblings; Dorothy "Dot" (George) Saxton of Houston, Texas and Earl (Betty) Lang of Cochranton, PA.

Friends will be received at Strifflers of White Oak Cremation & Mortuary Services, 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, 412 678 6177) on Tues. from 6-8 pm and Wed. 2-4 & 6-8 pm. Services will be held at 11:30 am Thursday in the funeral home chapel.

Burial will follow.
