Vann Richardson Sullivan, age 90, of McKeesport, PA, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Wednesday, November 12, 2025. She was born in Ozark, AL, on February 12, 1935, and is the daughter of the late Lura and Lema Bell Richardson.
She was a graduate of Carraway School of Nursing, University of Alabama, Birmingham. Vann practiced nursing in Ozark, AL, Columbus, GA, and McKeesport, PA. She was a member of the 4H Club, White Oak Bowling League, and Card Club. She was also a long-time member of St. Pius V Parish. Vann enjoyed playing 500 bid, shopping, listening to music, watching movies, Alabama football, and spending time at Pymatuning Lake.
Vann is survived by her children, Donna (Daniel) Chancey Kunf of McKeesport, PA; Cynthia (Greg) Kuhns of Warrenton, VA; and Philip (Andrea) Sullivan of North Huntingdon, PA; grandchildren, Ashleigh (Tyler); Philip; Mitchell; and Reece; and great-grandchildren, Danni; Floyd; and Elizabeth.
In addition to her parents, Vann is preceded in death by her husbands, Philip “Scotty” Sullivan; and John Edwin Chancey; and sisters, Barbara Searcy; and Carolyn Harris.
Family and friends are invited to gather and honor Vann’s memory on Sunday, November 16, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Strifflers of White Oak Cremation and Mortuary Services, Inc., 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, supervisor, 412 678 6177). Services will be held on Monday, November 17, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. A burial will follow.
