Thelma A. Mahaffey, 92, of Pleasant Hills formerly of White Oak and Port Vue, died December 14, 2015. She was born in Duquesne on August 15, 1923 and is the daughter of the late James L. and Hazel Morgan Myers and wife of the late Guy S. Mahaffey, Jr. Thelma was an office manager for Psychological Service of Pittsburgh. She is survived by her son, Guy S. Mahaffey III of Pittsburgh; nephew, Jay (Sharon) Cope and their 3 children of Greer, S. Carolina. She is preceded in death by her sister, Jean Cope.
Friends will be received from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Wednesday at STRIFFLERS OF DRAVOSBURG/WEST MIFFLIN, 740 Pittsburgh-McKeesport Blvd., Dravosburg, PA 15034 (412-678-6192), service will be held Thursday at 10:00 AM in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Jim Leuenberger officiating. Burial will follow.
