Thaddeus E. Majzer

Thaddeus E. "Ted" Majzer, 84, of Port Vue, died Monday, May 11, 2015. He was born Aug. 17, 1930, in Port Vue, a son of the late Theodore and Susan Cverna Majzer; and the husband of the late Theresa Kurtz Majzer. He is survived by son, Thomas Majzer, of Las Vegas, Nev.; daughter, Barbara Pingel, of Chandler, Ariz.; granddaughter, Danielle; and brothers, Francis (Marilyn) Majzer, of McKeesport, and Daniel (Marcy) Majzer, of Versailles Borough. He was a veteran of the Army and served in the Korean War. He was employed at U.S. Steel. Friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at STRIFFLERS OF PORT VUE, 325 Gumbert St., Port Vue, PA 15133 (412-678-6193). Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Mark's in Port Vue. Entombment will follow.
