Sophie Leibold

Sophie Leibold, 83, of White Oak, died peacefully at home on Wednesday, July 11, 2012. She was born in Honolulu, Hawaii on August 22, 1928, and is the daughter of the late Henry and Annie Yin On Gomes. She is the wife of the late Albert Leibold.

She is survived by her children; Albert (Carol) Leibold of White Oak, John (Candice) Leibold of Tampa, FL, Deborah (Herbert) Corletti of Port Vue and Diane (Michael) Frazier of Austin, TX, grandchildren; Natalie, Erika, Melissa, Michael, Christina, Colton and Samantha, great-grandchild; Ava Marie, siblings; Phillip Gomes of Honolulu, Hawaii and Frances Martin of San Dimas, California, and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by 9 siblings.

Friends will be received at Strifflers of White Oak Cremation & Mortuary Services, 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, supervisor, 412-678-6177) on Saturday from 6 until 8 p.m. and Sunday from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Angela Merici in White Oak on Monday at 10 a.m. Burial will follow.
