Shirley Ann Korenic

Shirley Ann Korenic, age 92, of North Huntingdon Twp., died on Tuesday, December 23, 2025 at Walden’s View Senior Living. She was born in McKeesport, PA on August 10, 1933 and was the daughter of the late Emil Wetzler and Margaret Simons Herr. She was the wife of late Joseph Korenic, Sr.

She was a retired cashier and a longtime member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the General Smedley D. Butler Post 701, White Oak American Legion.

She is survived by her son Joseph (Jane) Korenic, Jr.; grandchildren, Allyson (Dave) Kaminsky; and Joseph Korenic, III; and great grandchildren, DJ; Layla; and Cody Kaminsky all of North Huntingdon.

Family and friends are invited to gather and honor Shirley’s memory on Friday, December 26, 2025 from Noon until 2:00 p.m. at Strifflers of White Oak Cremation and Mortuary Services, Inc., 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, supervisor, 412-678-6177). A burial will take place.
