Sheryll L. Rhodes

Sheryll L. Rhodes, age 56, of White Oak, died July 6, 2011. She was born in McKeesport on June 10, 1955 in McKeesport and is the daughter of Mary Jane Harrison Lako of McKeesport and the late William Lako. She was a secretary for many years at Sampson's Mills Presbyterian Church, Three Rivers Hospice and then Goodwill Industries.

She is survived by husband William John Rhodes, daughter Jessica of White Oak, sister Sandra Suba of McKeesport, nieces Pamela (Kevin) Thompson and Heather Escott and nephews William Suba, Carl (Shannon) Suba and Ryan Escott.

She was a Girl Scout leader for many years, a member of the Rainbow Volunteer Fire Dept. Auxiliary, White Oak Recreation Board and was a member of Sampson's Mills Presbyterian Church where she participated in the Youth Club, was a former deacon and taught Vacation Bible School.

Friends will be received at Strifflers of White Oak Cremation & Mortuary Services, 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, supervisor, 412 678 6177) on Thursday from 6-8 and Friday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM. Services will be held on Sat. 10 AM at Sampson's Mills Presbyterian Church. Burial will be at Mt. Vernon Cemetery.
