Serenity Jakub

Serenity Jade (Reny) Jakub, passed away October 18th, 2014 at the age of 3. She was tragically taken from us too soon along with her mother Hope Jordan Egenlauf, her brother Dominic and sisters, Autumn and Victoria. We will miss her greatly.

Serenity always greeted everyone with a warm smile and sometimes a hug. She loved to laugh and play. Her days spent with her brothers, Sean and Jaxen and her cousin, Mina were filled with messes, silly games, naps, trips to the park and movies. And she could always be found with her Dora and Boots. Serenity's life, while brief, brought much joy and happiness to those around her. We will miss her more than we can express.

She is forever loved by her father Andrew Jakub, stepmother, Rebecca Brydges and stepfather, Keith Egenlauf, brother's Jaxen and Sean, who will live each day in honor of Serenity. She is cherished by her Uncle Bill, Aunt Jenn and her paternal grandmother, Veronica and Aunt Dawn and Uncle Joey, her maternal grandmother, Ellen Gilbert Williams and grandfather Joseph Jordan. She was welcomed into heaven by her Grandpap, Bill Jakub, Jr.

Friends will be received at Hunter-Edmundson-Striffler Funeral Home, 600 Market St., 600 Market St., McKeesport, 15132 (412 678 6191) on Sat. from 2:00 until 7:00 p.m. and on Sunday from 2:00 until 4:00. Services will be held in the funeral home chapel on Monday at 11:30 a.m. Burial will follow in Round Hill Cemetery.
