Scott David Petras, age 50, of McKeesport, PA, died on Sunday, May 3, 2026. He was born in McKeesport, PA, on September 8, 1975, and is the son of Ann Kovaly Petras of McKeesport, PA, and the late Robert Petras.
He was employed as a cement finisher for over thirty years and was a former member of the Croatian Club CFU Lodge 146.
In addition to his mother, Scott is survived by his sister, Beth (Richard) Alberts of Leeper, PA; and nephews, Nathan Dean Alberts; and Xander Robert Alberts.
Family and friends are invited to gather and honor Scott’s memory at Strifflers of White Oak Cremation and Mortuary Services, Inc., 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, supervisor, 412-6-6177) on Thursday, May 7, 2026 from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the services at 11:30 a.m. with Father Donald J. Voss officiating. A burial will follow.
