Ruth Vogt, age 92 of Liberty Boro, died November 6, 2013. She was born in Hundred, West Virginia on October 31, 1921 and is the daughter of the late Jolly and Alvie Wilkop Bogard and the wife of the late Fred W. Vogt.
She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Port Vue United Methodist Church, Homemakers Club of Elizabeth and Community Life of McKeesport.
Ruth is survived by her children; Kenneth Vogt of Irwin, Karen (Jeff) Miller of Waterloo, Ohio; Debra Vogt of Liberty Boro, Grandchildren; Monica Vogt, Kimberly (Charles) Perkins, Nancy Gonzales, Jeffery (Julie) Miller, Crystal Vargo, Nikki (Ray) Rapp, Kenneth (Anne) Vogt, Michael Dades, Great Grandchildren; Jessica, Reubin, Matthew, Desiree, Kari, C.J., Olivia, Melissa, Anthony, Daniel, Steven, Robert, Chase, Athena, Mickey, Jordan, Antonio, Jordan, Bailee, Tosh, Michael, Reyna, and Great Great Grandchild; Steven. She is preceded in death by sister; Dorothy Sila.
Friends will be received at Strifflers Dravosburg/West Mifflin (740 Pittsburgh-McKeesport Blvd., Dravosburg, PA 15034; 412-678-6192) on Friday from 10:00 am until 1:00 pm. Services will be officiated at 1:00 pm Friday by Pastor Josephine Whitely-Fields and Pastor Jody Dausey. Burial will follow.
