Ruth Mccombs

Ruth McCombs, age 90, of McKeesport, died on Friday October 21, 2016. She was born in Amberg, Germany on December 28, 1925 and is the daughter of the late Johan and Nancy Demmler Neunteufel. She was a homemaker, loved to knit and crochet beautiful afghans, participated in senior aerobics, and was a member of AARP and SOAR.
She is survived by daughter; Mary (Michael) Kerston of White Oak, son; Walter McCombs of McKeesport, grandchildren; Dana Kerston (Edward Carr) of Liberty Boro, Michael A. (Nikki) Kerston of McKeesport, great-grandchildren; Seth Olinsky, Noah Kirsch, and Devalyn Kerston, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Roy D. McCombs, sisters; Maria Feil, Paula Tausch, Elizabeth Neunteufel, and Ann Mueller, and daughter-in-law; Rayna McCombs.
Friends and family will be received at Strifflers of White Oak Cremation and Mortuary Services Inc., 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131, (Sue Striffler Galaski, supervisor, 412-678-6177) on Tuesday October 25th from 2-5 pm.
