Ronald J. Yurik

Ronald J. Yurik, age 82, of White Oak, PA, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 29, 2023. He was born in Braddock, PA on November 2, 1940 and is the son of the late John and Adele Korbel Yurik. He was preceded in death by his wonderful wife of 56 years, Doris Barno Yurik, who died on September 25, 2020. Ronald was a member of the United States Army Reserves and later retired after many years from Carbidie. He was an avid collector of stamps and coins and loved to play Candy Crush Saga. He was a longtime member of Mary, Mother of God Parish, St. Angela Merici Church. Those that knew him would have described him as quirky, but a really good guy.

He is survived by his daughter, Sharon Ann (Brian) Mowery of Washington, PA; grandchildren, Elika; Caleb; Lyla; brother, John (Emily) Yurik of Export, PA; and sister, Doreen Berger of Boynton Beach, FL.

In addition to his parents and wife, Ronald was preceded in death by his brother, Daniel Yurik.
