Ronald "Ed" Egenlauf

Ronald "Ed" Egenlauf, age 55, of McKeesport, died oct. 18, 2014. He was born in McKeesport on March 25, 1959 is the son of the late Herman and Lena McGarrity Egenlauf. Ed was a huge Steeler fan, loved to fish and adored his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife, LaVerne Chisco Egenlauf, sons, Ronald (Dawn Emery) Egenlauf, Jr., Jesse Egenlauf and Keith (the late Hope Jordan) Egenlauf all of McKeesport, daughters, Amber (Justin Suprak) Egenlauf of Boston, PA and Tammy Payne of McKeesport, grandchildren, Ronald, Heather, Megan, Keith, Ashley, Kayla, Destiny and the late Dominic, Autumn, Serenity and Victoria who also lost their lives in the Oct. 18th fire, siblings, Mary Benton of Greenock, Donna (Perry) Ackerman, Tammy Chisco, Emma (Allen) Ackerman, Herman Egenlauf and David Egenlauf all of McKeesport. He was preceded in death by siblings, Gary Egenlauf, Anna Egenlauf, Paula Ridge, Tom "Nick" Warman and great grandchildren, Charm and Noah and the late Cameron.

Friends will be received at the Hunter-Edmundson-Striffler Funeral Home, 600 Market St., McKeesport, 15132 (412 678 6191) on Sat. from 2:00 until 7:00 p.m. and on Sunday from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m. Services will be held in the funeral home chapel on Monday at 11:30 a.m.
