Ronald C. "Bert" Berta, age 55, of Glassport, formerly of McKeesport, on March 1, 2011. A supervisor for Yarborough Development Company, he was a member of the Carpenters Union Local #230 and the PNA Lodge #750 in Glassport.
He is the son of Yvonne Reedy Berta of Liberty Borough and the late Ronald W. Berta. He is also survived by children Stephanie of Imperial and Shawn of New Alexandria, former wife Carrie Robinson of White Oak, siblings Bonna (Gary) Pearson of Murrysville, David of Texas, Howard (Belinda) of Export and Barry of Greenock. There are nieces and nephews surviving also.
Friends will be received at Strifflers of White Oak Cremation & Mortuary Services,1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, supervisor, 412 678 6177) on Thursday from 2-4 & 6-8 pm. Services will be held in the funeral home chapel at 10:00 am on Friday with Rev. Kenneth Jones officiating. Burial will follow at Richland Cemetery.
