Robert L. Steers, age 91, of White Oak, PA died Jan. 25, 2011. Born in Waukesha, Wisconsin on October 19, 1919 he is the son of the late Leland S. and Anna Carolina Danialson Steers. He was a US Army Air Force Veteran serving in WWII. He was a Political Science Professor at Universities in Ohio and Tennessee and retired from the Commonwealth of PA as an Administrator and Adjustor.
He is survived by children, Robert J. Steers of Lower Salem, Ohio and Mary Leslie Steers of Cape Cod, Mass., brother Jack Steers of Ft. Myers, Florida, sister Shirley Ann Caldwell of White Oak, PA and half sister Lauralee Cantlon of Gainesville, Florida.
Interment to be held at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Parkersburg, West Virginia.
