Robert A. Hixon, age 90 of Willards, Maryland, formerly of White Oak, died October 20, 2010 in McKeesport. Born, February 3, 1920 in Pittsburgh. A WWII US Navy Veteran serving as a deep sea diver.
Was a life member of Youghiogheny F. & AM. Lodge 583, Scottish Rite Valley of Pittsburgh 32nd degree Mason, Syria Temple, Eastern Shore Shriner's Club, and Tall Cedars Lodge #53.
He is survived by daughter Denise Nemcik of McKeesport, 16 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren.
Services were held at Strifflers of White Oak Cremation and Mortuary Services (412-678-6177). Burial will take place in Maryland.
