Robert Burkhart, age 62, of West Mifflin, died July 31, 2011 in Pittsburgh. He was born in West Mifflin on March 8, 1949 and is the son of the late John and Margaret Rodgers Burkhart. He was retired from USS Edgar Thompson Plant and was a US army veteran.
He is survived by daughter Nicole Dunn of Alexandria, VA, sisters, Betty (Fred) Whitney of Level Green, Shirley (Richard) Hochman of Elizabeth, Margaret (Chuck) Weishorn of North Huntingdon and nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received at Strifflers of White Oak Cremation & Mortuary Services, 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, supervisor, 412 678 6177) on Friday, August 5th at 10:00 am until 12:00 noon. Burial will follow.
