Richard "Bear Claw" Robert Moore

Richard Robert "BEAR CLAW" Moore, age 58, died December 22, 2010. He is the son of the late Woody Wendell and Alice Halo Smith Moore and was born in Duquesne on August 27, 1952. He was a member of Council of Three Rivers American Indian Center, Dorseyville, PA, Dravosburg Fire Hall, Dravosburg American Legion, Hays Moose, and St. John of the Cross Lutheran Church.

He is survived by spouse Cynthia Brown of Dravosburg, sons Brant (Julie) Moore of Munhall, Stefan Moore of Dravosburg, Richard R. (Lisa) Moore, Jr. of Luzerne, PA, daughters Emma Lee Brown of N. Huntingdon, Kimberly Renee (Eric) Long of Raeford, NC, grandchildren William, Livia, Alicia, and Colin. Siblings Marion, Woody, Billy, Fleck, Boyd Moore, Inez Jenkins, Mary Robinson, Lydia Hale, Linda Sammartin, Barcina Bole, and Edie Spalding. He was preceded in death by a brother John "Red Bird" Moore.

Friends will be received at Striffler's of Dravosburg/West Mifflin Funeral Home, 740 Pittsburgh-McKeesport Blvd, Dravosburg, 15034, on Monday from 6-8PM and Tuesday from 2PM until time of service 6PM.
