Richard E. "Butch" Moon, 58, of McKeesport, died Feb. 7, 2013. He was born in McKeesport Dec. 11, 1954 and is the son of the late Richard M. and Fannie L. Norton Moon.
He played softball for the Steel Valley League for many years.
He is survived by brothers; Wayne Moon of McKeesport and Charles (Tracy) Moon of Versailles Borough, nieces and nephews; Shawn, Kristin and Danielle Moon, and grand-niece; Kaylee Moon, and his former wife of 20 years; Leanne Bishop.
Friends will be received at Strifflers of White Oak Cremation & Mortuary Services, 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, supervisor, 412 678 6177) on Thursday Feb. 14th from 2:00-6:00 PM.
Remembrances may be made to the family in care of Striffler Family Funeral Homes.
