Richard P. "Lippy" Liposchok, 78 of Port Vue, died December 17, 2013. Born in McKeesport on June 18, 1935 he is the son of the late Peter and Mildred Lalich Liposchok.
He was employed at U.S. Steel Local 1408 until he retired. He was a lifelong member of the Port Vue Fire Dept. and was very involved in his community. Lippy assisted the Port Vue Historical Society, spending much of his time compiling information used to celebrate the Port Vue Centennial Celebration.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Gail Marie Liposchok, his son, Mickey Liposchok and brother, Peter Liposchok.
He is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, friends and family.
Services were handled by Strifflers of White Oak Cremation and Mortuary Services (412-678-6177).
Remembrances may be made to the Port Vue Fire Dept, 1800 Romine Ave., Port Vue, PA 15133.
