Prince "Joe" Buckman, Jr., age 96, of Clairton, died June 4, 2014. He was born in Pinewood, South Carolina on December 10, 1917 and is the son of the late Prince Sr. and Margaret James Buckman and the husband of the late Janarie Kelley Buckman who died January 2013.
He was employed at Steelmet until he retired.
He is survived by his daughter; Connie Buckman of Clairton with whom he resided. Also survived by 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his 2 sons; Charles and Leonard Buckman and daughter Joy B. Walker.
Visitation will be held Monday, June 9, 2014 at Morning Star Baptist Church, 307 Shaw Ave, Clairton, 15025 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Services will be held at 11:00 and officiated by Rev. Willie Thompson. Burial will follow.
