Philip S. Madak, age 60, of Beaver Falls, PA, formerly of White Oak, died April 27, 2013. He was born in McKeesport on September 4, 1952 and is the son of the late Stephen and Virginia Bartko Madak. He is preceded in death by his wife, Janet Frishkorn Madak, brother, James R. Madak, half brothers; Robert H and Russel Madak. He is survived by his sister; Donna (John) Konik of White Oak, Nieces; Susan (Adam) Morrow of Bethel Park and Julie (David) Dansak of North Huntingdon. Great nieces; Katherine, Emily, Anna, Grace Dansak and Bella Morrow; great nephew Mark Morrow.

Philip was a graduate of McKeesport Senior High Class of 1970, Slippery Rock University Class of 1974 and Maryland bible College and Seminary. Philip worked as a human services counselor for Greater Grace World outreach for many years. He had a big heart, loved his family and served his country in the US Army.

Friends will be received at Strifflers of White Oak Cremation and Mortuary Services, 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, supervisor, 412-678-6177) on Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. Services will be Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Ronald Delouis officiating.
