Paul Keenan, age 84, of White Oak died on Saturday January 21, 2017. He was born in McKeesport on October 11, 1932 and is the son of the late James and Gladys Jordan Keenan. He retired from USS National Tube as an engineer and served in the Navy during the Korean War. He was a member at St. Angela Merici Church, the Croatian Club in Versailles, 6th ward EBA Club in McKeesport, and the White Oak America Legion Post 701. He was the former senior vice commander of the East McKeesport VFW post 8430, and past governor of the former Moose Club in McKeesport.
He is survived by his wife; Dolores DiPerna Keenan, step-sons; Paul (Linda) Skalski of West Mifflin, Peter (Cynthia) Skalski of Essex, MD, and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Friends and family will be received at Strifflers of White Oak Cremation and Mortuary Services, Inc., 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, Supervisor, 412-678-6177), on Tuesday January 24th from 4 pm until 8 pm. Services will be on Wednesday January 25th at 9:30 am in the funeral home chapel with Father Kevin Dominik officiating. Burial will follow. Condolences may be made at
