Patricia M. Schmeltz, 75, of White Oak, died on August 2, 2013. She was born in McKeesport on April 12, 1938 and is the daughter of the late John and Stella Lang Verner.
She is survived by her husband Robert James Schmeltz, children; Ryan J. (Vicki) Schmeltz of Elizabeth, Randy (Danielle) Schmeltz of North Versailles, Robert Schmeltz of White Oak, Arthur (Jennie) Schmeltz of Versailles Borough, Cheryl Walsh of West Mifflin, Tracy Lauterback of Denver, CO, Siblings; Shirley Burgman of McKeesport, Billie (Elmer) Keffer of Greensburg, John Verner of McKeesport, grandchildren; Samie and Wendy Dobransky, Nathan Walsh, Jared, Brenden, Alaina, Raelyn, Beth Ann Schmeltz, great-grandson; Anthony Salma, many nieces and nephews, good neighbor; Brenda. She is preceded in death by siblings; Sandy Stitt and Sam Verner.
Services were held at Strifflers of White Oak Cremation & Mortuary Services, 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, supervisor, 412 678 6177). A mass will be held Saturday, Sept. 7th at 9:00 AM at St. Angela Merici Parish.
Remembrances may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Pl., Memphis TN 38105.
