Patricia M. Lawson

After a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer, Patricia M. Lawson, age 63, of Duquesne, died on Nov. 1, 2011 with her family by her side. She was born on Sept. 15, 1948 and is the daughter of the late Alex "Moon" and Helen Stalowski Budai. She was preceded in death by her husband Donald L. Lawson and her sister Dolores Peer. She was an outpatient billing clerk at UPMC McKeesport until she retired after 43 years of service and was a member of Christ the Light of the world Parish.

She is survived by daughters Shannon Lawson and Heather (Paul) Rock both of West Mifflin, grandchildren Brittany and Cody and 1 great-grandson Caden.

Friends will be received at Strifflers of White Oak Cremation & Mortuary Services, 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, supervisor, 412 678 6177) on Thursday from 6:00 until 8:00 pm and on Friday from 2:00 until 4:00 pm and 6:00 until 8:00 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday at 9:00 am at Christ the Light of the World Parish with Rev. Dennis J. Colamarino officiating. Burial will follow at Holy Name Cemetery.
