Patricia A. Douglass, age 71, of White Oak, formerly of Duquesne, died March 12, 2013 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Homestead on Aug. 3, 1941 and is the daughter of Valerie McCloskey Dzurikanin of Duquesne and the late Michael Dzurikanin. She is preceded in death by her husband John L. Douglass and brother Dennis R. Dzurikanin. She is survived by children; John (Tina Keno) Douglass, Pamela (Brian) Hatala, Kenneth (Nancy) Douglass, Dennis (Deborah) Douglass and Joseph Douglass, grandchildren; Michael and Keifer Douglass, Joshua and Nicholas Hatala, Anthony and Robert Douglass, Dunovan and Devin Douglass, Destiny and Joseph Douglass; Siblings Alan (Debra) Dzurikanin and Valerie (Richard) Xander, Brothers-in-law: Kenneth, Thomas and Donald Douglass, Sisters-in-law; Alice Irwin and Dawn Dzurikanin, nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, many cousins and extended family and friends.
She was a member of the Duquesne High School Band Parents and Football Mothers, Duquesne Little League Mothers and Mon Yough Girls Softball Coach and she was employed at the former UPMC Braddock Hospital in the cafeteria and housekeeping. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
