Patricia Anne Connelly Striffler

Patricia Anne Connelly Striffler, age 87, of White Oak, died Sunday, Aug. 30, 2015. She is the daughter of the late Patrick Aloysius and Christine Erda Weiskircher Connelly. She is the wife of the late Frank Sheridan Striffler and the mother of the late Frank Connelly Striffler. She is a 1946 graduate of McKeesport High School, received her Bachelors of Science Degree from Seton Hill University, served her internship at Good Samaritan Hospital in Cincinnati and then worked at McKeesport Hospital as an assistant dietitian. After raising her children she owned and operated All Aboard Travel Agency in McKeesport and North Versailles where she worked from 1978 until 1993. She is a member of the McKeesport College Club where she previously served as president, is a member and volunteer for the McKeesport Regional History and Heritage Center and also served on her high school reunion committee for many years.

She is survived by her children; Edgar Patrick Striffler, Esq. and Sue Ann Striffler (Steve) Galaski both of White Oak, grandson; Adam Striffler Galaski, grand dogs; Puerta and Rico, sister; Carlene Cavanaugh of Ocala, Florida and nieces; Stacy J. Cavanaugh, Kathleen (Alar) Elken and Christine (Scott) Altman.

Friends will be received at Strifflers of White Oak Cremation and Mortuary Services, 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, 15131 on Wed. Sept. 2nd and Thurs. Sept. 3rd from 2:00 until 8:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 12:30 p.m. in St. Angela Merici Church. Fr. Kevin Dominik will officiate and burial will follow.
