Norma F. Tellman

Norma Fay Tellman, 78, of McKeesport died June 20, 2013. She was born in Braddock June 14, 1935 and is the daughter of the late Allen and Faith Elmina Alexander. She is the wife of the late John E. Tellman.

Norma worked for 25 years for the State Unemployment Office, interviewing potential employees. In that time she was able to place many workers laid off by the steel mill and found her work very rewarding. She also was very active in her community.

She is survived by her daughters; Karen (Louis Nowasielski) Harkins of South Park, Margaret (Phil) Scheboth of Hookstown, Norma Tellman of Bentleyville, grandson; Stephen Scheboth, and sister; Joyce Nesbitt of Ambridge.

Friends will be received at Strifflers of White Oak Cremation & Mortuary Services, 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, supervisor, 412 678 6177) on Tuesday from 3:00 until 7:00 pm when the services will be held.
