Nicholas W. " Nick" Vukovich, age 57, of Greensburg, died suddenly Wednesday, April 1, 2015, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born in Greensburg on July 13, 1957 and is the son of the late Nick and Irma Denunzio Vukovich.
He was a Service Manager for Computer Connection in Greensburg for 20 years. He had a passion for riding motorcycles and traveled every state in the country; Nick also enjoyed snow skiing and quad riding.
He is survived by his loving wife of 19 years, Doreen Nipaver Vukovich of Greensburg; sister, Diane and husband Gary Howe of Florida; brother, Daniel G. and wife Anna Vukovich of Youngwood; nieces and nephews, Christy, Carrie, Jennifer, Nick, and Lukas and many others. He is preceded in death by siblings, David, Dennis and Sheryl Vukovich.
Friends will be received from noon to 6 p.m., with a service at 3 p.m. on Saturday at Strifflers of White Oak Cremation and Mortuary Services, 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, 412 678 6177).
Remembrances may be made in Nick's name to the American Cancer Society, 320 Bilmar Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15205.
