Nancy Lynn Callahan, age 54, of McKeesport, PA, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, August 31, 2026. She was born in McKeesport, PA on May 29, 1972 and was the daughter of the late John and Janet Langsdorf Ross. She was a loving and caring mother, wife, sister, daughter, aunt, cousin, great-aunt, and great-great-aunt.
Nancy was a dedicated and hardworking woman who spent over twenty years working at Farkas Manor. During those years, she touched the lives of many people and made lasting connections with those she worked alongside.
Nancy loved being surrounded by the people she cared about deeply. Family and friends meant the world to her and she enjoyed spending time with them, hanging out, laughing, and making memories. She especially enjoyed taking long car rides with her family and friends and going to the flea market. Nancy also liked to play poker and bingo.
Nancy leaves behind her loving husband, Steve Callahan; children, Steve Callahan; Shawn Callahan; and John Callahan, all of McKeesport, PA; beloved grandchildren, Shawn Callahan; Arianna Callahan; Ava Callahan; Stephen Callahan; and Raymon Callahan; sisters, Sharon (the late George) Orban; and Brenda Ross, both of McKeesport, PA; nieces; nephew; great-nieces; great-nephews; great-great-nieces; great-great-nephews; as well as many cousins, friends, and loved ones who will forever cherish her memory.
In addition to her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by her siblings, Janet Mack; Debra Callahan; and John Ross; and her beloved cat, Dakota, who held a special place in her heart.
Nancy’s unexpected passing leaves a deep emptiness in the hearts of everyone who loved her. Her family will forever remember her loving heart, caring spirit, laughter, and the countless memories she created with the people she loved.
Though she is no longer with us, Nancy’s memory will live on through her children, grandchildren, family, friends, and everyone whose life she touched. She will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever carried in the hearts of everyone who knew and loved her.
Rest peacefully, Nancy. You will never be forgotten.
Family and friends are invited to honor Nancy’s memory on Saturday, September 5, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Strifflers of White Oak Cremation and Mortuary Services, 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, supervisor, and Adam Striffler Galaski, funeral directors, 412 678 6177).
