Matilda I. Lesko, age 92, of McKeesport, died Feb. 27, 2013. Born Aug. 2, 1920 in Glassport she is the daughter of the late John and Mary Lipnicky Thomas and the wife of the late Michael W. Lesko. She was a member of St. Mark's Parish in Port Vue and also a member of the former Friendship Club in McKeesport.
She is survived by her daughter; Barbara (John) Schaut of McKeesport, grandson; John (Marcy) Schaut of McKeesport, great-grandchildren Michael (Amanda), Samantha and Allison Schaut, sisters; Mary Alice (John) Bielic of Glassport and Mildred Demchak of Clairton, also nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received at Hunter-Edmundson-Striffler Funeral Home, 600 Market St., McKeesport, 15132 (412 678 6191) on Friday from 8:30 until 9:00 AM. Mass will follow at 9:30 AM at St. Mark Parish, 3210 Liberty Way, Liberty Borough. Burial will follow.
