Mathew Christ Sealander

Mathew Christ Sealander, age 70, of Port Vue, PA, died on Monday, February 23, 2026. He was born in Fort Belvoir, VA, on July 3, 1955, and was the son of the late Marvin and Stella Laverne Mathison Sealander. He proudly served in the U.S. Navy as a Chief Engineman for twenty years.

Mathew is survived by his wife, Ann Marie Hartos Sealander of Port Vue, PA; son, Chris (Merann FDL) Sealander of Leechburg, PA; daughter, Staci Sealander; grandchildren, Dakota; Paige; Cole; (and another grandchild on the way); sister, Tina Bylzes of Cape Girardeau, MO; and brother, Jeff (Gerry) Sealander of Orlando, FL.

In addition to his parents, Mathew is preceded in death by his sister, Debbie Boyd.

Full military honors were held on Friday, March 6, 2026 at Strifflers of White Oak Cremation and Mortuary Services, Inc., 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, supervisor, 412-678-6177).
