Mary Ellen Yanichko

Mary Ellen Yanichko, age 79, of North Huntingdon, died November 15, 2013 peacefully at her home. She was born in McKeesport, on July 29, 1934 and is the daughter of the late Walter and Mary "Hettie" McCaslin Barton and the wife of the late Edward John Yanichko.

She is survived by children; Lynn Yanichko of White Oak, Beth (Justin) Armstrong of White Oak, Karen (James) Anderson of North Huntingdon, brothers Walter (Nancy) Barton of Greensburg, Fred (Rita) Barton of Mt. Lebanon and Paul Barton of Elizabeth and one granddaughter Emily.

Friends will be received at Strifflers of White Oak Cremation and Mortuary Services, 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, supervisor, 412-678-6177) on Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. Mass will be held Tuesday at St. Elizabeth Seton Church in N. Huntingdon at 10 AM with Reverend Fr. Leonard Stoviak officiating. Burial will follow.
