Mary Mays

Mary Mays, age 59, of McKeesport, died July 8, 2011. She was born in Tarentum on March 5, 1952 and is the daughter of the late Homer and Harriet Crosby Ainsworth. She was a substitute teacher for Elizabeth Forward School District, then McKeesport Area School District then a full time art teacher for Woodland Hills School District. She received her Master's Degree from California University in Art Education.

She is survived by her husband, Timothy, son Raymond (Jamie) Mays of Port Vue, grandchildren, Michael, Brittany, Katelyn, Cameron, Shane and Madison, siblings Thomas Ainsworth of Kittanning, David Ainsworth of California, Diane (Donald) Jackson of Spring Church, PA, Alice (James) Stitt of Whitesburg, PA and Lois (Ronald) Jackson of Widnoon, PA, daughter in law Kimberly Wiley Mays of Belle Vernon. She was preceded in death by son, Frank.

Friends will be received at Strifflers of White Oak Cremation & Mortuary Services, 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, supervisor, 412 678 6177) on Monday from 1:00 until 5:00 pm when services will be held by Pastor Gene Bender.
