Mary Rose Martucci Schweitzer

Mary Rose Martucci Schweitzer, 90, West Mifflin, passed away peacefully on Sept. 23, 2011. She was the daughter of the late Michael and Raffaela Libratore Martucci. Beloved wife of the late Herman R. Schweitzer. Mother of Sharon (Sam) Terzich, Robert Schweitzer and Louis (Debbie) Schweitzer all of West Mifflin and Gladys Schweitzer of Dravosburg. She is the grandmother of Tammy Terzich, Samantha (Mick) Manns, Lou, Luke, Rachel, and Anthony Schweitzer, and the great grandmother of Courtney, Jade, Natalie, and Ashleigh; also survived by many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Erma Paterra, Louis and Dom Margadonna, and Dominic and John Martucci. Mary was a member of Holy Spirit Church where she taught CCD for many years and was a member of the Women's Guild and a member of West Mifflin Election Board District 12 where she served as Judge of Elections for several years.

Friends will be received at Strifflers of Dravosburg/West Mifflin, 740 Pittsburgh-McKeesport Blvd., Dravosburg, 15034 (412-678-6192) Mon. 2:00-4:00 and 6:00- 8:00 pm.

Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at Holy Spirit Church Tuesday at 10 am with Fr. John B. Lendvai officiating.
