Mary "Molly" Gertrude Haughey

Mary “Molly” Gertrude Haughey, age 97, of North Versailles, PA, formerly of McKeesport, PA died on Tuesday, August 13, 2024. She was born in McKeesport, PA on February 8, 1927 and was the daughter of the late James Gregory and Gertrude Mary Clay Haughey. Molly was a 1945 graduate of Saint Xavier’s Academy in Latrobe, PA retired after forty-two years as a secretary from B&O Railroad. After her retirement, she enjoyed traveling throughout the world. She was also a member of Mary, Mother of God Parish.

She is survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to her parents, Molly was preceded in death by her brothers, Jerome G. (the late Lois) Haughey; and John Roger (the late Ramona) Haughey.

Family and friends will gather on Thursday, August 15, 2024 from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Strifflers of White Oak Cremation and Mortuary Services, Inc., 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, supervisor, 412-678-6177). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, August 16, 2024 at Noon at Mary, Mother of God Parish, Corpus Christi Church, 2515 Versailles Avenue, McKeesport, PA 15132. A burial will follow.
