Mary E. Hartnett, age 81, of Lincoln Borough, died March 12, 2013. She was born in New Castle and is the daughter of the late Harry and Laura Lutz Newton and the wife of the late Thomas F. Hartnett.
She is survived by children; Thomas (Cindy) Hartnett of Kennedy Twp., David (Vicki) Hartnett of Penn State, Timothy (Kelly) Hartnett of Lincoln Borough, Kathy Capozzoli of Harbeson, DE, Deborah (Ron) Zanetti of Elizabeth Twp., and Amy (Michael) Lovasic of Greenock, 14 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; siblings; Carol Santone of Port Vue, James (Donna) Newton, of Inlet, S.C. and Richard (Mae) Newton of Boston, MA. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Mary "Bethy" Rabickow and siblings; Donald and Bill Newton and Lana Bender.
Friends will be received at Strifflers of Dravosburg/West Mifflin Funeral Home, 740 Pgh.-McKeesport Blvd., Dravosburg, 15034 (412 678 6192) on Thursday 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 PM. Services will be Friday 12:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Gene Bender officiating. Burial will follow.
