Mary Ann Dougherty

Mary Ann Dougherty, age 82, of McKeesport, on March 11, 2011. Born in Port Vue on July 31, 1928 she is the daughter of the late Michael and Mary Kyne Pomaibo. She is the wife of the late James S. (Ted) Dougherty. She was the manager for the Speedy Mart on Bailie Avenue in McKeesport for approximately 15 years, was a member of Corpus Christi Church (formerly St. Pius V and St. Peter), a former Den Mother for the Cub Scouts and a Duck Pin Bowler for Palley's Lanes.

She is survived by sons James "Chipper" (Barb) of Normalville, PA, William (Scarlet) of McKeesport, Thomas (Jean) of Duquesne, Michael (Patty) of West Mifflin, John of McKeesport, Raymond (Lynn) of McKeesport and Daniel of Versailles, sister of William (Margaret) Pomaibo of Duquesne and Shirley (John) Karlowski of Elizabeth and many grandchildren, step grandchildren, great grandchildren. Also survived by aunts Lucy and Mary Ann and Uncle Paul.

Friends will be received at Strifflers of White Oak Cremation & Mortuary Services,1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, supervisor, 412 678 6177) on Monday from 6-8 and Tues. 2-4 & 6-8. Mass Wed. at Corpus Christi Church. Burial St. Peter and Paul Cemetery.
