Jane Arnovitz

Mary Jane Arnovitz, age 90, a retired nurse who was known as “Sarge” to her friends and family, passed away after a long illness on January 24, 2014 In West Melbourne, FL. She was born in Blairsville, PA on March 21, 1923 and is the daughter of the late George W. and Laura Rowland Kebler. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Erwin Arnovitz; son, 1Lt Michael Arnovitz (MACV-AUS); brother, George (the late Blanche) Kebler; and nephew, Denis Kebler. She is survived by her sons, Stephen (Jill) Lorenzo; Anthony (Mary) Arnovitz; niece, Patricia “Patsy” (Paul) Kennedy; six grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be held on Monday, May 15, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at Temple Cemetery in Versailles, PA with Rabbi Howie Stein officiating.
