Margaret Stoffer, age 88, of Port Vue passed away peacefully August 31, 2014. She was born in McKeesport on April 1, 1926 and is the daughter of the late Michael and Julia Vojnik Dudik. She was employed as a hairdresser at Ann Parler Beauty Salon in McKeesport and as a caterer at Longue Vue Country Club in Verona. She will be remembered for her Slovak cooking, her rambunctious sense of humor, and most of all, the love she had for her family.
She is survived by her husband of 40 years, John R. Stoffer. She is the beloved mother of JoAnn (Tom) Brenner of Levelgreen and Nancy (the late Joe) Niccolai of Bethel Park; Loving grandmother of Stacie (Rick) McDermott and Sherry and Shelley Niccolai; Cherished "Baba" of Ryan & Sydney McDermott; Sister; Bette Connors, brothers; Andrew (Louise) Dudik & Bill Dudik. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. She is preceded in death by her first husband and father of her children; Joseph Fabic; and siblings; Michael, Joseph and John Dudik and Ann Parler.
The Family wishes to thank the staff at The Palms at O'Neil and Riverside Care Center for their wonderful care, and extra thanks to her great niece, Patti Bosnak, for her love and guidance during Margie's last few months.
