Mae Bokin, of White Oak, died August 30, 2014. She was born in Homestead and is the daughter of the late Romain Holawaty and Ethel Emery Holawaty Jones. She is sursvived by her husband, Andrew J.Bokin, Sr., with whom she spent 45 wonderful years. She is also survived by children; Ronald (Cheryl) Faulds of White Oak, Michael (Agnes) Faulds of West Mifflin, Paul (Paula) Faulds of Munhall, Andrew J.Bokin, Jr., Lynn Bowen and Michele (Carlin) Smith all of White Oak, grandchildren; Ron, Ray, Sharon, Matt, Samantha, Elysia, Sarah and Anthony, great-grandchildren; Devan, Matthew, Noah, Melia and Nichole, sister: Deborah (Leonard) Takach of North Strabane, Godchildren; Anastasia (Justin) Ross and Dennis Takach and to many others she was known as Aunt Mae. She was preceded in death by brother, Paul Holawaty.
Friends will be received at Strifflers of White Oak Cremation and Mortuary Services, 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, supervisor, 412 678 6191) on Tuesday from 2:00 until 8:00 p.m. Services will be officiated by her brother-in-law, Pastor Jack Bokin, and held on Wed. at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in McKeesport and Versailles Cemetery.
