Lynda M. Dean

Lynda Marie Dean, 67, of Port Vue died June 20, 2013. She was born in McKeesport March 21, 1946 and is the daughter of the late John and Margaret Timar Winter. She is the wife of the late George Joseph Dean, Sr., and sister of the late John Winter

Lynda was employed at Duquesne University for 24 years until she retired from Aramark. Her favorite past-times were visiting the local thrift stores, flea markets and garage sales.

She is survived by her son; George (Mary Kay) Dean, Jr. of White Oak, grandchildren; Nicole, Shawn and Jenna Dean of White Oak, sister; Marge (Bill) Barnocky of Port Vue, many nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received at Strifflers of White Oak Cremation & Mortuary Services, 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, supervisor, 412 678 6177) on Monday from 2-4 & 6-8 pm. Services will be held Tuesday at 11:30 am in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
