Louise Marie Hoover, age 49, of McKeesport, died Aug. 5, 2013. She was born in Manchester, N. Hampshire and is the daughter of the late Rosario and Prudence Palardis Dufresne. She is survived by her husband, Edward L. Hoover, children; Gail M. Hoover of Bridgville, Heather T. Ruffolo of Plum, David R. Hoover of Versailles and Bryan C. Hoover of McKeesport, grandmother of Nathanial, Nicolet, Daveiona, Zander, Miles, Maxwell, Brayden and Travis, siblings; Theresa (Gerald) Houle of Virginia Beach, VA, Marc (Shirley) Dufresne and John Dufresne of Ocklawaha, Florida, Pauline (Wayne) Carr of Summerfield, Florida and Claudette Dufresne of New South Wales, Australia, great niece, Waverly Houle, great nephew; Barry Harbour and many other nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by daughter; Gina E. Hoover and grandchild; Sabastian C. Hoover. She is a U.S. Army veteran, past Commander of the Smedley D. Butler American Legion, Post #701 where she also is a member of the Ladies Auxilary past #33 District Commander, a graduate of ICM School of Business.

Friends will be received at Strifflers of White Oak Cremation & Mortuary Services, 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, supervisor, 412 678 6177) on Thurs. from 3:00 until 6:30 p.m. when the White Oak American Legion will have services. Burial will be in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
