Louis Liberatore, 95, of McKeesport died June 17, 2013. He was born in McKeesport February 12, 1918 and is the son of the late Louis and Philomina Sack Liberatore. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII and was a recipient of 4 Bronze Stars. He was employed at the G.C. Murphy Company and was a member of the White Oak American Legion Post 701. Louis loved dancing at the Palisades and Turners in McKeesport.

He is survived by his wife; Mabel Smith Liberatore with whom he resided, children; Larry (Ann Marie) Liberatore of Murrysville and Lorie (William) Cannon of Jeannette, grandchildren; Anne (Jason) Lemak, Stephen Liberatore, Sara Cannon and Benjamin (Stephanie) Cannon, great-grandchildren; Francesca and Liliana Lemak, sister; Antoinette Horvath of N. Huntingdon.

Friends will be received at Strifflers of White Oak Cremation & Mortuary Services, 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, supervisor, 412 678 6177) on Thursday from 4-8pm. Services will be held at the funeral home chapel on Friday at 10:00 AM with Pastor Charles Owston officiating. Burial will follow at Richland Cemetery.
